(Please click on the photo for more pictures.)On Saturday, we headed up to Flint so Michele and I could be Baileigh's Godparents at her baptism at St. Pius. Baileigh was an angel during the ceremony and actually smiled when the priest poured the water on her head. After the Baptism, Russ and Jen had everyone over to their new house in Swartz Creek for dinner. Jake had a blast chasing the girls around in the basement.
Sunday found us at PnT's slip. We had a great picnic with MPnA and DLCnM. MnK also joined in while Dan and I had the two little ones back at the house for a nap. During that time, everyone else got to spend some time on the pontoon boat and swimming over by The Moose.
On Monday, a lot of the teachers got together again at the spray park with the little ones. Michele said Jake had a great time playing with the other kids. He also loved playing with all the different water toys and didn't mind getting splashed at all.
Today, Jake had his first "2's on the Move" class at the Rec Center. He got to hit a ball off a tee, play on a scooter, and walk on a balance beam among other things. Michele was very proud of how well he waited for his turn and shared with the other kids. She gives his teachers at The Learning Tree most of the credit for that! He'll have to miss a class while we are in Shelby, but he's still got 5 more ahead of him. I'm hoping to work from home one of the days so I can see him in action.
