Memorial Day Weekend

It's Wednesday, and I still don't feel recovered from our Memorial Day weekend. It started off with a get together with some friends. They had a bounce house which Jake barely left. While he was bouncing away, we got to just hang out like adults and even catch up with some friends we hadn't seen in a while.

On Sunday we headed North and met Meme and Alison for breakfast after going to Holy Family for Church. We then went back over to GnGT's house for some boating and a cookout. Lynette and Maiya joined us while Dan and Colin were having fun down in Indy.

Michele and Jake hung out around the house on Monday while I was working, but they seemed to have a pretty good day.

We hope your weekend was as enjoyable!

Flower Day

On Sunday, after Church, we headed down to Eastern Market for their annual Flower Day. It was very cool to see all the different flowers and plants that were available. There were a ton of people, so it took a bit longer to get parked and move around, but it was definitely worth it. The weather was on the cooler side, but it was great for walking around. Jake had a great time, especially when we got near the people performing with various drums including metal drums. He had a great time dancing and besides bringing smiles to some of the strangers' faces, he even got someone to dance along with him! You can see some photos from that and some bubble fun from later in the day here.

Lots of Happy's

In the past week we got to celebrate Mother's Day, Michele's 31st birthday, and Emily's Baptism.  That means we also got to see a lot of family and friends!

Michele is getting anxious for the end of the school year.  If Jake realized that means he got to stay home with Mommy for the summer, I think he'd be even more excited!

I'm really going to have to sort through all the movies that Michele has taken so that I can get some of those uploaded, but for now, here are some new pictures.
